New York Information Center
WXY Architecture y Urban Design, junto con la oficina de mercadeo de la ciudad de New York, acaba de completar el nuevo centro de información de la ciudad. El lugar es una re-invención de cómo el diseño, la arquitectura y la tecnología ayudaran a turistas y residentes a planear sus itinerarios en la ciudad. El New York Information Center oficialmente abrió sus puertas el 21 de enero de 2009. Allí el visitante podrá buscar su itinerario o actividad en modernas pantallas interactivas ubicadas en diferentes partes del lugar, después de esto cada persona puede ver el resultado en pantallas gigantes de video, imprimirlo o descargarlo en su propio aparato electrónico.
WXY Architecture + Urban Design along with NYC & company – the city’s official marketing, tourism and partnerships organization have just completed the NYC Information Center. The design is an innovative re-invention of the way visitors and residents plan their New York City itineraries. The NYC information center officially opened to the public on january 21, 2009. Once an itinerary is developed, the visitor can then choose to view their travel plans in various formats. Visitors can also use the digitized puck-to-pylon method to obtain their itinerary in hard copy or send themselves an itinerary directly from the interactive map table via email or text to access from their personal electronic device.
